The wacky sport known as hamster racing was invented in Britain in 2001, and has now spread to the United States and Asia. An epidemic of foot and mouth disease in Britain that year caused the cancellation of many horse races and other sporting events. To replace them, betting agencies introduced the concept of professional hamster racing. It was an immediate hit and continued to attract a fan base long after the traditional sporting events resumed.
This contest is open to any amateur hamster racers with or without valid drivers’ licenses. Vehicles will be provided. Our tiny competitors will run elimination heats until our final four take to the track. Prizes will be awarded for our first, second and third place winners. Honourable Mentions will be awarded all who participate, even if they don't make it to the chequered flag.
Submit an entry form online with your name, phone number, and the name of your competitor. May the best hamster win!
